How do I transfer my website from my current host?
The most logical way of attacking a situation such as this one is to follow the steps we've laid out below:

• Order the package you'll need with our company and we'll set it up for you. After account setup, you'll receive an email with login information, DNS information, etc.
  
• Login via ftp and upload all files from your current website.
  
• Login to your control panel and create all current email accounts, etc.
  
• Our goal here is to create a mirror copy of your current website on our server.
  
• Now log into your domain registrar (networksolutions, register.com. Godaddy etc...) and change the nameservers for your domain to point to our company.
  

Our current DNS settings are:
ns3.genetichosting.net
ns4.genetichosting.net

Please call to confirm the correct settings.

- Once you've completed all the above steps, then you must wait 24-48 hours for the DNS to update worldwide.

How do I get my domain name to work with my hosting account?
After you're hosting account has been created, what you'll need to do is login to your domain registrar and change the nameservers for your domain. What this will do is point your domain to your new hosting account with our company. The DNS information that you'll need to change can be found near the bottom of your welcome email message.

How can I create a default/catch-all email account?
by defualt this is already set up. You can login into your admin control panel and view your mail box settings. There is additional information within the control panel.

How do I access my control panel?
To access your personal control panel, simply point your browser to www.yourdomain.com:8443 or .www.yourdomain.com/admin This will present your with a username/password box which you can find the information for in your welcome email. Another way of doing this is simply clicking on "client login" in the top left portion of our website.

How can I change my control panel password?
Its best to call and have your password changed if you feel that theres been a security breach. We like to keep our files up to date in case there are any problems

I have a script that I bought... can you load it onto the server for me?
We are always open to loading custom scripts and software onto the server for our clients at an additional cost, but please note that we do inspect the script/software to be sure it doesn't cause any problems for other clients on the server. If there's any doubt regarding the security of the script, we will not load it on.

Do I use my domain name or the server ip when connecting via ftp?
If your domain name has not yet changed its DNS to Presage Designs, then it's best to use the ip when connecting to your hosting account. The good thing about using the IP is you can continue to use it even when the DNS does get updated.

What folder do I upload all my website files to?
The folder you want to upload all of your website files to is called "httpdocs" or "mainwebsite_html" in your ftp or file manager list.

With our servers, you can access your website using either http and www or both!

How come my website is saying my account is suspended?
This would likely be because you've either broken a key rule in our Terms of Service or you're over 7 days late with a payment to Presage Designs.

The best thing to do in a situation such as this is check the email you used to sign up with us... you'll have an email in there from our billing or support department, explaining the situation in great detail. Please keep in mind that a situation such as this is quite seldom. Generally we'll call the client before suspending their acocunt.
